The world is in need of some positive change, and Bodeen is ready and motivated to spread the love and her passion for music.
With over fifteen years of creating music under her belt Bodeen (also known as Queen Bodeen) is extremely versatile. She focuses mainly on RnB and alternative folk but also shines through alternative rock, afrobeats, country and blues.
Bodeen was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She spent majority of her life in The Beaches and left Toronto after high school for London to get her sociology degree at Western University. It was in London Ontario where she created a name (and alter ego Bodeen) for herself. Creating the artist name and image for Bodeen meant she could step into the light and be who she wanted to be, without her past getting in the way.
The drive to make music began when Bodeen asked for a guitar at the age of 10. Christmas that year rolled around and Santa left a kid sized guitar under the tree! By the age of 11 she was taking classes for both guitar, and singing. By the time middle school and high school rolled around Bodeen had a long list of original material she created. She competed in battle of the bands and always had a passion for being on stage in the spotlight. Fast forward to today, the 26 year old artist is writing, recording and releasing music on all platforms.
COVID-19 hit and it hit everyone hard. Bodeen takes her mental health serious and paused her music in order to tackle her own personal barriers. Now that she is back into creating and actively recording and releasing songs, Bodeen is ready for the limelight.

She doesn't stop the grind! Next up on the Bodeen radar is a chill partially acoustic EP set out to be released in the Spring of 2023.
